How to setup Anti-Threat Bot Protection
Anti-Threat Bot Protection scans any bot that joins your server, and makes sure it's safe or not and follows your security settings you chose, to set it up, you have to run /anti-threat bot-protection
How to set it up.
When you run the command, it shows you a list of security options you can select from 5 different options:
None:
No rules are applied, all bots can join your server.
Normal Protection:
The bot must be over 2 weeks old
The bot must have an avatar
The bot must Not be on the Bot Blacklist
Secure Protection:
The bot must be over A month old
The bot must be Verified
The bot must have an avatar
The bot must Not be on the Bot Blacklist
Lockdown Protection:
The bot must be over 3 months old
The bot must be Verified
The bot must have an avatar
The bot must Not be on the Bot Blacklist
The bot must Not be granted Administrator permissions
Locked:
No bots are allowed in your server, This is highly unrecommended.
Once one of these is selected, anytime a bot is added to your server CyberShield will make sure it follows all the rules of the setting you chose, and if it doesn't the bot is kicked/removed from the server.
How to setup logging
The logging system allows you to log whenever a bot doesn't meet the requirements of the current security level and will by running /anti-threat bot-logs and will provide extra info such as the reason the bot was flagged.
Choosing the channel.
When running the command, all you have to do is choose a channel for all the logs to be sent and the process is complete.
How to lock your config settings
By default, any user with the Administrator permission is allowed to edit your server's config settings, you can change this by runningÂ
/anti-threat bot-configlock.
How it works.
When running the command, it prompts you with a button to toggle whether only the server owner can edit the config or any user with Administrator permissions.
How to run a server scan
By running /anti-threat bot-scan, your bot will scan all bots in your server to make sure they aren't malicious.
How it works.
There are two types of scans you can run:
Investigation:
The bot will scan every bot in your server, and log all bots that don't meet the security level's requirements, the bot will provide info on them but will not take action.
Threat Hunt:
The bot will run a scan similar to investigation scans, however it will take action against any bots that get flagged and provide you info on them.
This command cannot be used in servers with over a thousand members.
How to whitelist a bot to your server
Anti Threat Bot whitelisting allows server owners to whitelist bots, giving them full access to be added to your server and bypass all security restrictions (except locked) by running /anti-threat bot-whitelist
Conditions to set it up/additional info.
Only the server owner can whitelist/unwhitelist bots and use this menu.
The Bot must meet the "Normal Protection" setting's rules, this is for your own safety.
The "Locked" setting is the only one excluded from whitelists, and no bot can bypass it even if whitelisted.
How to set it up.
When you run the command, it'll give you 4 different actions you can do
Adding a Bot:
Prompts you with a popup that lets you enter a bot ID to whitelist.
List Bots:
Provides a list of all bots currently in the whitelist
Delete a Bot:
Prompts you with a menu to delete a bot off the whitelist via it's ID
Clear Bots:
This clears all bots off the whitelist, this action is dangerous and undoable once you confirm it.
